Almighty God, we rejoice in your promise of love, joy and peace. In your mercy turn the darkness of death into the dawn of new life, and the sorrow of parting into the joy of heaven; through our Saviour Jesus Christ, who died, rose again and lives for evermore. Amen.

Do not fill your heart with pain, but remember me every morning. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. I'm just resting a little. Although my absence causes pain and sadness, my departure has eased my pain. So dry your eyes and remember me. Not as I am now, but as I used to be because I will remember you all with your smiles. Understand in your heart that I have only rested a little. As long as I have the love of each and every one of you, I can live my life, in the hearts of each and every one of you.

To my children , as I sit in heaven watching you, I try to let you know with signs that I never left. I listen to you when you laugh and I watch you while you sleep. I even put my arms around you to calm you down while you cry. I see that you want the days to pass, begging to have me home. That's why I try to send you signs so you know you're not alone. Don't feel guilty because you have a life that was taken from me. The sky is truly beautiful, just wait and see. So live your life, laugh again, enjoy and be free. So I know that every time you breathe, you will do it for me.
